No Mercy Tournament!

I was thinking and I came up with an idea to have an event where all the clan compete when ever we like, where we like etc.

So I thought of a 1vs1 system.

All members of nM will be automatically entered and all of your names will be put into a generator. It will decide who verses who. Then the winner goes to the next round. For example:

Me vs Coxon, Coxon wins, I go out, Coxon goes to the next round.

If you guys think this will be a good thing to do within the clan, say so and I'll try and get it organised. I can try and book X-T server when 1vs1s are upcoming, if they dont mind ofcourse.

The pair fighting will be set a time and date to 1vs1. The date will be confirmed by the pair and they will fight.

So some support and comments would be nice, if we decide to do this, it could be some fun for the clan!

A poll has been set up, yes or no will surphice if you like the idea or not.

I do not think we should use the knock out right away.
Just use a league in which we play every member.
nM has what 11 members? So everyone plays 20 matches.
10 opponents to use a sort of home-away system by letting one member choose a map and you choose the other.
This way u can see the end result just like in the premier league

The top 4 could then do a knock out, untill we have our number one! *coughcoughLavacough*

very good idea, and i agree with lava. WeeD done a similar thing to this, but wasnt organised very well

We need to finalise and agree on rules and settings like point system and stuff.

It's a good idea, but I'm not a fan of 1v1. (I think most of you allready know that)

I think u should be able to pick the map urself and let ur opponent choose the other. Dm17 is bound to be chosen anyways

2 map win, first map is dm17 and the looser choose the next map.

We can play 1 map or 3 (with 3 maps a ref or someone watching can pick a map, i dont mind reffing if needed) Choose whatever map you want

People dont have to play if they dont wanna

This could be done a lot of ways:

3points for a match win and 1 for a lost?

Same points system as fn league, which is 3 points for each map win, 1 point if you lose map above 10 kills, and bonus points for the winner?

3 points win, 1 point loose, 2 points draw and everyone plays everyone at least once.

How do we draw?

Well if we decide 1 map each, then thats that, if we do 3 maps each, then we wont need the draw rule

I am willing to do this tournament and possibly help you sort the rounds out (on my free days ofcourse)

I thinks its a pretty good idea, get a little competiton going and to help each other get better

i think it's a great idea,, but i'm in for the league... otherwise i am out in the first round
