Ok im fed up. im making us a new website.

i got a host so i SHOULD (prob wont be as easy as i hope, never is) just be able to put phpbb3 on it and we can have a super-fast website that doesnt fuck up every 2 mins.

any suggestions?

ok ive installed php, mysql and lighttpd onto the server so im just trying to figure out how to upload phpbb3 to the server.

I don't think this forum has been slow.. As long as you don't delete all the threads and posts..

well people get logged out after making posts, the forum fucks up every 2 mins, it has adds all over it and its database is getting full.

Besides we dont own this website, its owned by forummotion who hosts it for us.

besides, 5 people voted no and 14 said yes for a new site.

I spent hours yestuday, infact all day creating a webserver.

This website wont be shutting down until most people have registered on the new one, this gives you PLENTY of time to retrieve your Sig/Avatar setting and getting important posts such as tutorials.

Its best to get a website now than never

This forum has NEVER fucked up for me.. It works perfect to view and it works fine to post. So I doubt it has to do with the forum.. More likely the internet connections you're all using.

I still think it's a bad idea to get rid of this forum and start fresh. But that's my opinnion...

well it has for me and most of its users. you must come on just after i fix it every 5 mins.
